About Me

Get to know me through my professional story, and personal life!

My Professional Story

Within the last few years, I have enjoyed gaining experience in many different fields of marketing that has directed my path towards social media management and digital communications. During my time at the University of Idaho, I was the Marketing Manager for Vandal Solutions, a not-for-profit student-run marketing organization on campus. Through my position, I was able to connect with many different local businesses and worked with them to manage their social media platforms.

After graduation, I worked for Spokane County doing Social Media Management. In this position, I interacted with the Spokane community through social media to spread awareness of events, updates and city announcements. I was photographing original content and creating graphics to be used for PR media, as well as writing statements about public updates and county projects.

This last year I have worked as a Marketing Assistant with Eat Good Group, a local Spokane restaurant company. Within this position I managed the social media accounts of ten different pages, including restaurants, breweries, and a catering company. All the content I created was original, which I photographed and edited. I also managed our third-party delivery services and customer relations on platforms like Yelp and Google. After my time with Eat Good Group, all accounts I managed saw an increase in follower count, engagement and reach. Some of the graphics I created were also published in ads like The Inlander, and used  on billboards.

Competing on a DI track team at the University of Idaho taught me about commitment and discipline. Go Vandals!

My passion for food and photography were blended in this job. I loved photographing content for the restaurants.

Through my Social Media position, I documented trails, golf courses and aquatic facilities for Spokane County.

Sep - Dec 2022, I traveled across Europe and worked on organic farms in Greece and Italy.

My Personal Story

I currently live in Spokane, WA. Growing up in the PNW has given me such an appreciation for the outdoors and has inspired my love for hiking and gardening. I have been playing the violin for 14 years, and making music with my sisters is a hobby that we love to do together! I have competed in many sports throughout my life, but running was always my talent. After having a successful high school track career, I attended the University of Idaho on a full track and field scholarship. Although my collegiate track days are now over, running is still a huge part of my life!

After college graduation, my twin sister and I took the opportunity to use our new-found freedom and travel throughout Europe for three months. We utilized a program called WWOOF, which is a work exchange program that links visitors with organic farmers, promotes an educational exchange, and builds a global community conscious of ecological farming practices. My sister and I shared in daily life with our hosts and learned about organic agriculture by working on the farms in exchange for accommodation. We 'WWOOFd' in Greece and several regions of Italy, and gained knowledge in sustainability and farming, as well as eating some amazing local cuisine. Three months and 10 countries later... I have new friends, new recipes and a lifetime of stories to tell.

Since returning from my travels, I have loved working in Marketing and Social Media Management, and hope to continue making impacts on the companies I work for.
